Grading of Images
1st Retinal Screen engages only ophthalmology level graders to undertake secondary and arbitration grading which exceeds the recommendations of the National Screening Committee (NSC).Grading is supported by addition Quality Control processes to ensure accuracy and consistency. The images and results from the Grading are immediately made available on the web-based register for all relevant healthcare professional to access and patient are informed of their results by letter.

Our service includes reporting of both DR Retinopathy and Non DR Retinopathy findings (this exceeds the approach recommended by the NSC). Click here for more information on Grading of Images
