1st Retinal Screen Ltd provides a comprehensive Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Service (DRS), which not only screens and monitors existing patients with diabetes at risk of retinopathy but also identifies those who have diabetes but have not had a formal diagnosis.

Through its fully managed service or by its modular approach 1st Retinal Screen Ltd assists Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) in meeting the diabetes NSF targets, which can be monitored via our performance dashboard as well as helping to deliver the Quality Assurance (QA) Standards and Service Objectives of the English National Programme for DRS.

Our solution is entirely flexible and adaptable to your DRS needs. We can deliver either a comprehensive managed solution covering all aspects of the service, from establishing a DRS register through invitation and booking services, developing a patient pathway, the screening process (pre-screening tests and image capture), grading and quality assurance. We can also offer specific assistance in any of these six key service elements using our modular approach.
